So, my dedicated followers, do you recall last Friday when I said that whatever Claire had was minor? (If you forgot, the post is below haha)...well, that actually turned out to be pneumonia. Yeah, I was just a little off with that one. Also, even though her temp wasn't 105 on Friday, it did reach 104.3 on Monday :( Off to the ER we went....
I know you all know what happened (if you don't, and want to, just ask) so I'm not going to re-hash, but here are some lessons learned:
1) I will never, ever attribute a fever to teething ever again.
Actually, I think that's the only one. Thankfully she's really recovering strongly and will go to the doctor for a follow-up on Tuesday (same day she starts swimming lessons as well). I've been home with her all week with the exception of one day of work and I have to say I'm really really going to miss her when I go back to work. I miss her all the time, of course, but having this week together (pretty much stuck in the house) we created our own little mommy and Claire world, and it's going to be sad to say goodbye to it.
